Sanger is a city in Fresno County, California, in the agricultural heart of the San Joaquin Valley. On a map it is a clear, rectilinear town, a grid of streets set within the larger grid of country roads that divides the valley into square sections. Orchards and vineyards press right up to the edges of town.
Sanger is known as the Nation's Christmas Tree City, a title linked to the General Grant tree in Kings Canyon National Park, which serves as the national Christmas tree.
