Senirkent is a district town in Isparta province, in the area of south-western Turkey known as the Lakes Region. From above, the town lies where steep mountain ground meets a flatter plain. The street pattern reflects this. The upper streets are short and follow the slope, while the lower part of town opens onto a more regular layout.
Streams come down from the mountain behind the town, and their valleys are visible as creases in the terrain above the houses.
