Siófok stretches along the southern shore of Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe. On a map the town reads as a long, narrow strip pressed between the water and the railway, with the shoreline running almost straight for kilometres. Holiday streets, villas and hotels sit close to the lake, while the older town and residential districts spread a little further inland.
The defining feature is the Sió, a regulated channel that leaves the lake here and carries water south toward the Danube. Its sluice and harbour mark the centre of town. The canal's straight course divides the waterfront into eastern and western stretches, known locally as the Gold Coast and the Silver Coast.
Siófok is often called the summer capital of Balaton, and it is the birthplace of the operetta composer Imre Kálmán. A Siófok map poster sets the town's tidy streets against the wide, empty surface of the lake. The page is split between dense linework and open water, a simple composition that is clearly lakeside.
The shore runs in a long, gentle line along the northern edge of town, and the lake itself fills a large part of the print as a calm, unbroken field.
A straight artificial channel leaves Balaton at Siófok, with a sluice and harbour at its mouth. On the map it cuts cleanly through the town toward the south.
East and west of the canal, beach resorts and holiday streets line the water in two waterfront districts that give the town its long, shore-hugging shape.

Ko e ha Siófok
Siófok is a place of summers: school holidays, first trips with friends, long evenings by the water. A map poster is a restrained way to keep those memories, and the lake gives the design a strong, clean outline.
Put the year you went or the name of your group in the title, edit the subtitle and coordinates, and pick one of five styles. Blueprint suits the water well. The HD files cover six print sizes, or you can order the poster printed on matte paper.
