Ko e mape
Słupsk grew up on the Słupia river, about eighteen kilometres inland from the Baltic resort of Ustka. The river winds through town in soft curves, splitting into channels around the old centre, and it is the line the eye follows first on the map. Around it, the outline of the medieval town is still visible as a tighter, older weave of streets.
Several landmarks from the town's past as a seat of the Pomeranian dukes survive near the river: the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes, the mill beside it, and the brick Witches' Tower from the old walls. The castle houses the Museum of Central Pomerania, which holds the world's largest collection of works by Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, known as Witkacy.
A Słupsk map poster brings these layers together. It shows the curving river and the dense historic core, then the 19th-century blocks and later estates spreading outward, with parks along the water softening the centre. Rendered in fine monochrome lines, it reads as a calm portrait of a northern Polish town shaped by its river.

The medieval core around the castle, the mill and the Witches' Tower forms a small, dense cluster of streets along the river's western bank.
Green strips follow the Słupia through town, showing up as soft open bands that separate the old centre from the newer districts.
