Staszów is a town in the Świętokrzyskie region of southern Poland, south of the Holy Cross Mountains. Its historic centre is built around a market square, and from above the square is the clear point of origin: streets leave from its corners and sides and extend outward into later residential districts, housing estates and gardens.
