Ko e mape
Sydney's map begins with the harbour. Port Jackson reaches inland from the Pacific in a long, branching waterway, splitting into countless coves, points and bays before narrowing into the Parramatta River. The city grew around these shores, so suburbs sit on peninsulas and headlands, and the coastline appears in intricate, finely detailed curves.
Near the centre, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, opened in 1932, crosses from The Rocks to the North Shore, and the Sydney Opera House stands on Bennelong Point just to the east. The Royal Botanic Garden and the Domain form a green edge to the central business district, whose streets still follow lines set out by the early settlement around Sydney Cove.
Beyond the harbour, the map extends to the ocean beaches of Bondi and Manly, to Botany Bay in the south, and to large areas of national park along the water. A Sydney map poster can be centred on the bridge and the Opera House or widened to show the full reach of the harbour and its many inlets.

A small headland beside Circular Quay where the Opera House sits, with the curve of Farm Cove and the Botanic Garden immediately to the east.
Dozens of bays and coves branching off the main waterway, such as Neutral Bay, Mosman Bay and Middle Harbour, giving the map its intricate, fractal-like shoreline.

Ko e ha Sydney
Sydney is often chosen by people who have moved there, moved away, or married near the water. The harbour is recognisable even without labels, and the balance of fine shoreline and dense streets makes a poster that reads well from across a room.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates to mark a suburb, a date or a milestone. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters are available on matte paper with an optional wooden frame, or download six HD sizes for $9.
