From above, Tarancón is a tight, rounded settlement set on the broad plateau of Cuenca province. Its older streets knot around a church square at the centre, then open into newer blocks and industrial plots on the edges. Beyond them the map turns almost empty: long field boundaries, farm tracks and the pale geometry of cereal land stretching toward the horizon.
The town sits on the historic route between Madrid and Valencia and is often called a gateway to La Mancha. Major roads pass close by, and on a map their long curves and interchanges cut across the plain like drafting lines. That contrast between the dense core and the fast, sweeping roads gives the town a clear, readable outline.
A Tarancón map poster captures that simple arrangement: a small, compact grain of streets held within wide open country. In black and white, the fields read as quiet space and the roads as confident strokes, so the town becomes a single, legible mark on the plateau rather than a crowded patch of detail.
The oldest streets gather tightly around the central church and square, forming the densest and most irregular part of the map before the grid loosens outward.
Long roads toward Madrid, Valencia and Cuenca swing past the town, their broad curves and junctions giving the composition strong diagonal lines.
Around the built edge, field boundaries and rural tracks fill the frame, leaving generous negative space typical of the high, flat La Mancha landscape.

Ko e ha Tarancón
Tarancón is the kind of place people carry with them: a family town, a stop on the road between Madrid and the coast, a summer spent with grandparents. A clean map keeps that memory specific without turning it into a postcard.
