Ko e mape
Thủ Đức covers the eastern side of Ho Chi Minh City, across the Saigon River from the old centre. In 2021 it was formed as a single city from the former Districts 2, 9 and Thủ Đức, which made it a large and varied territory. On a map it is defined by water. The Saigon River curls along its western edge, and the Đồng Nai River and smaller channels frame the east.
In the southwest, the Thủ Thiêm peninsula sits in a tight river bend directly facing District 1. It is planned as a new financial centre, with broad avenues and open parcels still being filled. The Thủ Thiêm Bridge and the tunnel under the river connect it to the old city. Further north and east lie dense residential wards, industrial zones and the Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
In the north, the Vietnam National University area spreads across a wide campus, where the street network loosens around lakes and green space. A Thủ Đức map poster brings these pieces together: the curve of the river, the sparse grid of Thủ Thiêm, older alleys in the wards and the highways heading east toward Đồng Nai.
Set inside a sharp bend of the Saigon River facing District 1, the peninsula shows wide planned avenues and open blocks, a new centre laid out almost from scratch.
The river loops along the western edge, drawing broad curves and inlets that separate Thủ Đức from the older districts and give the map its strongest line.
In the north, the Vietnam National University area spreads across a wide, green campus with lakes and looping roads, much looser than the dense residential wards nearby.

Ko e ha Thủ Đức
Thủ Đức is where many people in Ho Chi Minh City bought a first apartment, studied at the national university or watched the Thủ Thiêm skyline start to rise. The map records an area in transition and makes a thoughtful gift for a new home on the eastern bank.
Write your own title and subtitle, such as a building name or the year you moved, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
