Ünye Map Poster & Print

Ünye lies on the Black Sea coast of Turkey, in Ordu Province. The town follows a gently curved bay, and its densest streets sit on the narrow strip of flat land between the sea and the hills. The coastal highway runs along the shore, and most of the town stretches out on either side of it in a long band.

Behind the centre, the land rises quickly. Streets climb the slopes in curves, and the built-up area thins into scattered houses among orchards. The hills around Ünye are covered in hazelnut groves, a crop the region is known for. On the map they appear as open, softly textured ground.

Inland on a hill stands Ünye Castle, an old fortress overlooking the valley. The town's beaches draw summer visitors from across the region. An Ünye map poster sets the shoreline, the coastal road and the rising hills against the wide blank of the Black Sea.

Coastal highway

The main road follows the shore closely, and the town's central streets gather along it in a long, narrow band.

03

Hillside streets

Behind the shore, roads climb and wind up the slopes, thinning into orchards and hazelnut groves as the terrain rises.
