Wilton sits in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and from above it looks nothing like a grid. Roads loop and wander through wooded hills, following old property lines and stone walls rather than straight survey lines. Houses sit on generous lots, so the street network reads as a loose web with wide gaps between strands.
Through the middle runs the Norwalk River, with the Route 7 corridor and the rail line following its valley south toward Norwalk and Long Island Sound. Wilton Center, the small commercial heart, gathers near that valley. The town is also home to part of Weir Farm National Historical Park, once the country home of the Impressionist painter J. Alden Weir.
A Wilton map poster captures that relaxed, rural-suburban geometry. The valley corridor forms a clear spine, while the side roads spread out like branches across the hills. In monochrome, the pattern looks almost botanical, a drawing of a town shaped by terrain and New England habit rather than planning.
The river cuts a north–south line through town, and the main road and railway follow it closely, giving the map a strong central axis among the scattered hill roads.
Part of Weir Farm National Historical Park lies in Wilton, a painter's retreat of fields, woods and a small pond that appears as a quiet open area on the map.
Away from the valley, roads curve around ridges and dead-end in cul-de-sacs, creating a loose, organic network that looks especially fine in the Paper or Sand styles.

Ko e ha Wilton
Wilton is the kind of town people choose deliberately, for its woods, schools and space. A map of it suits a family home, a first house purchase, or someone who grew up here and moved away but still thinks of those winding roads.
Add your own title and subtitle, perhaps a street name or a move-in date, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles and download HD files for $9, or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
