De kaart
Abqaiq Map Poster & Print
Abqaiq lies in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, inland from the Gulf coast and southwest of Dammam. It is an oil town above all, and on a map its layout reflects that purpose: a compact residential area, a large fenced industrial complex, and roads and pipeline corridors that run in long straight lines across open desert.
The Abqaiq plant, operated by Saudi Aramco, is among the largest crude oil processing facilities in the world, stabilising oil from Ghawar and other fields before export. The town combines an older settlement with a company residential camp, laid out with planned streets, green spaces and sports grounds that stand out clearly against the surrounding sand.
An Abqaiq map poster is a study in contrast: dense, geometric infrastructure set against an almost blank landscape. It is a meaningful print for the many people, from Saudi Arabia and abroad, who have lived and worked in the town over the decades, and a striking graphic even for those who have never been there.

Residential camp
The company camp is laid out as a planned neighbourhood with its own streets, parks and schools, a greener patch standing out against the desert.
Desert corridors
Straight highways and pipeline routes run out from Abqaiq across the sand towards the coast and the oil fields, drawing clean diagonal lines through the empty frame.

Waarom Abqaiq
Een kaart met betekenis
Many families spent years in Abqaiq and remember the camp, the school and the long drives across the desert. A map of the town is a personal record of that chapter, and one that is hard to find anywhere else.
Add a title and subtitle such as years of residence or a family name, set the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand is a natural fit, while Blueprint echoes the engineering of the place.
