Al Jumūm Map Poster & Print
Al Jumūm lies in the Mecca Region of Saudi Arabia, northwest of the holy city, in the valley known as Wadi Fatimah. The landscape here is arid, with rocky hills and dry ground on either side of the valley floor. From above, the town follows the lie of the land, with streets and buildings concentrated where the terrain is flat and accessible.
The wadi has long supported cultivation and settlement in this dry region, and on the map the contrast between the built area, the farmland along the valley and the surrounding hills is striking. Main roads run through the town, connecting it with Mecca and other centres in the region, and give the layout a clear direction.
An Al Jumūm map poster renders this setting in clean lines. The streets form a dense band along the valley, the connecting roads add long, straight lines and the surrounding open ground frames the composition. It is a clear, uncluttered image of a town shaped by its desert valley.

Roads to Mecca
Main roads cross the area and link it with Mecca and the wider region, forming long, straight lines that give the poster structure and direction.
