Bagre Map Poster & Print
Bagre is a municipality in the state of Pará, in the region of rivers and islands south of Marajó, where the waters of the Amazon system spread into a maze of broad channels. On a map, water covers much of the picture, and the town appears as a small built-up area on the riverbank, facing a wide waterway.
In this part of Pará, rivers are the main roads, and boats connect the town with Belém and the surrounding communities. A Bagre map poster shows that relationship clearly: the streets gather close to the waterfront, while the land beyond is largely forest, cut by creeks and smaller channels that wind through it.
In black and white, the rivers become large, smooth shapes, and the town is a detailed cluster at their edge. The contrast between the open water, the complex shorelines and the small street grid gives the map a strong, almost abstract character that reflects life on the Amazon's waterways.
