Folded hills
Low ridges and valleys shape nearly every road, so routes appear as soft curves that trace the contours of the land instead of cutting straight across.

Baihua Map Poster & Print
Baihua is a town in southern Sichuan province, set in the hilly country of the Sichuan Basin. The terrain here is gently folded, and the map shows it clearly: roads curl along valley floors and around low ridges, while the town gathers where routes meet on flatter ground. It is a landscape drawn in curves rather than straight lines.
Few facts about Baihua are widely published, so the landscape itself is the best guide. The Sichuan Basin is one of China's most intensively farmed regions, known for terraced fields and a warm, humid climate, and the land around town is divided into countless small plots. Villages and farm lanes spread across the hills in a fine, irregular web.
A Baihua map poster turns that intricate terrain into a calm line drawing. The town centre forms a denser patch of streets, and the looping country roads around it add movement to the composition. It is a meaningful piece for people with family ties to this corner of Sichuan, or anyone who knows its hills as home.

Town cluster
Where the valley opens out, Baihua's streets gather into a compact core, the densest part of the map and its natural focal point.
Farm lanes
Surrounding the town, a fine net of lanes links scattered villages and fields, giving the outer edges of the poster a delicate, textured look.

Waarom Baihua
Een kaart met betekenis
A map of a small town like Baihua is rarely bought as decoration alone. It usually marks a birthplace, a grandparents' village or a place revisited after many years, and the plain black-and-white treatment respects that personal weight.
Set the title and subtitle in any words you choose, keep the coordinates line or adjust it, and select one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9 and come without a watermark.
