Main road spine
The main road through town is the backbone of the map. Buildings and side lanes gather along it in a long, uneven band.

De kaart
Baoutifla Map Poster & Print
Baoutifla lies in the Sassandra-Marahoué district of Ivory Coast, in the stretch of country between Daloa and Vavoua. This is a region of small farms and plantations, and towns here depend on the roads that carry produce to market. On a map, Baoutifla looks shaped by those routes rather than by any formal plan, its lanes laid out by everyday use.
Little has been published about the town, so the poster relies on what the map shows. Houses and yards cluster tightly near the main road, and smaller paths branch off between compounds and gardens. Toward the edges the built-up area loosens, and footpaths and tracks lead into the fields, so the drawing fades gradually from density into open space.
A Baoutifla map poster is a personal object first. It will mean most to people with roots here, whether they still live in the area or have settled in larger Ivorian cities or overseas. In black and white, the town's footprint becomes a precise, quiet shape that holds memories without needing any explanation.

Compound lanes
Between the houses, short paths and irregular streets form a fine mesh typical of rural Ivorian settlements, adding texture to the centre of the poster.
Fields and tracks
Beyond the last houses the paper opens up, crossed by thin farm tracks that lead toward the surrounding plots and neighbouring villages.
