Compact town grid
The centre is a simple, regular grid around a main square and church. Because the town is small, the whole street pattern fits on the poster with room to spare.

Barro Map Poster & Print
Barro is a small municipality in the south of Ceará, in the semi-arid interior of north-eastern Brazil, not far from the border with Paraíba. From above, the town is compact: a modest grid of streets laid out around a central square and church, with blocks thinning out quickly into the surrounding countryside. The built-up area is small enough that its outline is clearly visible on a single sheet.
The landscape around Barro is typical of the sertão. Low hills, dry-forest caatinga and seasonal watercourses shape the land, and small reservoirs, known locally as açudes, hold water through the long dry months. Roads leave the town toward neighbouring municipalities and the Cariri region to the south, drawing long lines across otherwise open ground.
A Barro map poster captures that balance between a small, orderly town and the wide land around it. In black and white, the grid reads as a tidy cluster, while the roads and streambeds give the edges a looser, more organic feel. It is a quiet, honest portrait of a place that seldom appears on maps printed anywhere else.

Sertão surroundings
Open caatinga, low hills and seasonal streambeds surround the town. On the map they become calm, open space that sets off the density of the streets.
Roads outward
Roads leave Barro toward neighbouring towns in southern Ceará. They cross the map as long, spare lines, linking the small centre to the wider interior.
