Railway junction
Parallel tracks and sidings form long, sweeping lines through the settlement. They give the map the look of a technical drawing, especially in the Blueprint style.

Bilajari Map Poster & Print
Bilajari is a settlement within Baku, on the Absheron Peninsula northwest of the city centre. From above, its defining feature is the railway. Tracks and sidings spread across the area, and residential streets fill the land between and beside them, set against the dry, open terrain of the peninsula.
The settlement is known as one of the main railway junctions serving the Azerbaijani capital. Freight and passenger lines come together here before continuing into Baku or heading out across the country. That transport role gives the neighbourhood an unusually linear, engineered look compared with the older, denser parts of the city.
A Bilajari map poster turns this working landscape into a clear graphic study. Long parallel rail lines contrast with the smaller grid of houses, and open ground stretches around the edges. It suits anyone with roots in this part of Baku, or anyone drawn to maps where infrastructure shapes the whole design.

Residential blocks
Low-rise housing fills the areas between the rail corridors and main roads. It creates a finer, more irregular texture alongside the straight lines of the tracks.
Absheron terrain
Beyond the built-up area, the dry and sparsely built land of the peninsula leaves open space on the print. The dense streets stand out sharply against it.

Waarom Bilajari
Een kaart met betekenis
Bilajari is not a place tourists usually take home, which is exactly why a map of it means something. It speaks to people who grew up there, worked on the railway, or still have family in the neighbourhood.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a family name or a date. You can also choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
