The old core
Near the centre, streets are narrow and closely packed, with few straight lines. At poster scale this area becomes a rich, detailed texture.

Chhatarpur Map Poster & Print
Chhatarpur is in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. It is named after Maharaja Chhatrasal, the Bundela ruler who fought the Mughals in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. The town grew as a local centre of that kingdom. On the map, its oldest streets form a dense, irregular core, with busier main roads leading outward in several directions.
Like many towns in Bundelkhand, Chhatarpur has old water tanks, built reservoirs that store monsoon rain. On a map these appear as smooth open shapes inside and around the town. The land beyond the edge is open and often rocky, with fields and scattered villages along the roads.
The district is best known for Khajuraho, the group of temples famous for their carvings, which lies some distance east of the town. A Chhatarpur map poster focuses on the town itself: its tight centre, its tanks and the roads that connect it to the wider region.

Water tanks
Old tanks hold water for the town, a common feature across Bundelkhand. On the map they are calm open shapes among the dense streets.
Roads outward
Main roads leave the town toward neighbouring districts and the Khajuraho temples. They stretch across the poster edges and link the centre to the surrounding country.
