Chiúre Map Poster & Print
Chiúre is the seat of Chiúre District in the south of Cabo Delgado Province, northern Mozambique. It lies inland from the Indian Ocean coast, on the road network that links the provincial capital, Pemba, with Nampula Province to the south. From above, the town is a loose arrangement of streets and plots that quickly thins into cultivated land and woodland.
Most of the surrounding district is rural, and farming is the main livelihood. On a map this shows as a sparse web of tracks connecting scattered villages, with the town as the one clear concentration of streets. Further south, the Lúrio River marks the boundary between Cabo Delgado and Nampula, a broad natural line across the landscape.
A Chiúre map poster suits a composition built on space rather than density. The town's small street network, the roads leaving it and the rural pattern around it produce a light, open image. In the Paper or Sand style the result is calm and legible, a record of a place that is rarely shown on a wall.

Regional road
The main road through town links Chiúre with Pemba to the north and with Nampula Province to the south, a strong line that organises the whole map.
Lúrio River
South of the town, the Lúrio marks the provincial border with Nampula, a wide river that can frame the lower edge of a larger composition.
