Railway corridor
The rail line runs through the town as its oldest structural element, a long, steady stroke that the surrounding streets were laid out to meet.

Corinto Map Poster & Print
Corinto sits in the heart of Minas Gerais, well north of Belo Horizonte, in the broad cerrado country that runs toward the São Francisco basin. From above, the town is a tidy, compact block of streets. Beyond them the land opens quickly into pasture, scrub and scattered farm tracks, so the built edge reads clearly against the empty space around it.
The town's identity is bound up with the railway. Corinto grew as a junction on the old Central do Brasil network, where lines heading deeper into the north of the state parted ways. On a map the rail corridor still acts as a spine, and the street pattern leans against it. Regional roads fan out from the centre toward neighbouring municipalities.
A Corinto map poster shows a place where infrastructure did most of the drawing: straight streets, a long railway line, and a few roads running into the distance. Rendered in fine black lines on a pale ground, the town becomes a small, dense mark in a wide field. It is a quiet composition, and that restraint suits a place defined by its crossroads.

Compact street grid
Blocks in the centre are regular and closely spaced, giving the poster a dense core that thins quickly toward the edges of town.
Open cerrado edge
Past the last houses, the map gives way to farm roads and open country, a sparse border that frames the town rather than crowding it.

Waarom Corinto
Een kaart met betekenis
People who grew up in Corinto, or whose families worked along the railway, often want a piece of it on the wall that feels considered rather than nostalgic. A clean line map does that: it records the place without decoration and leaves the memories to the viewer.
You can add a family name, a year or the town's coordinates as the title and subtitle, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the railway theme especially well, echoing the look of an old engineering drawing.
