Flores da Cunha Map Poster & Print
Flores da Cunha lies in the Serra Gaúcha of Rio Grande do Sul, close to Caxias do Sul. The region was settled largely by Italian immigrants from the late nineteenth century, and their influence remains in the town's architecture, food and, above all, winemaking.
The municipality is one of Brazil's leading wine producers, and the landscape around the town is covered in vineyards. On a map the urban area sits on higher ground, with a compact centre and streets that follow the ridge, while rural roads wind down into the surrounding valleys between farms and small plots.
A Flores da Cunha map poster shows the town as a tight cluster set within rolling, cultivated land. The pattern of roads is more organic than a grid, bending with the hills, and the fine lines of rural tracks around it evoke the vineyard country that defines the region.
