Dense old core
The centre of town is a close network of narrow, uneven lanes. Printed in black and white it becomes the darkest, most detailed part of the sheet, the anchor everything else radiates from.

Gevrai Map Poster & Print
Gevrai sits in Beed district in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, on the broad Deccan plateau. From above the town reads as a dense core of short, irregular lanes, the older part of the settlement, surrounded by a looser ring of newer plots and lanes that run out towards the fields. The contrast between that knotted centre and the open land around it gives the map its shape.
The roads leading in from neighbouring towns do most of the drawing here. They arrive as clean, confident lines across the plain and then break into a finer mesh once they reach the built-up area. On a monochrome print this creates a pleasing rhythm: long strokes at the edges, small cells in the middle, and very little that feels planned from above.
A Gevrai map poster keeps the town at the scale people actually know it, where the market streets, the bus stand roads and the lanes towards home all fit into one frame. For anyone who grew up in Beed district or left it for Pune or Mumbai, it is a quiet reminder of a place that rarely appears on printed maps at all.

Roads across the plateau
Routes towards surrounding towns cross the flat Deccan farmland as long, nearly unbroken lines, giving the composition a strong sense of direction and a lighter texture at the margins.
Edge of the fields
Newer housing and plots spread outward in loose clusters, so the map shows the town gradually giving way to agricultural land rather than stopping at a sharp boundary.

Waarom Gevrai
Een kaart met betekenis
Small towns like Gevrai are usually a dot on a regional map. A poster turns that dot into a full sheet of streets, which is why people order it for a family home, a parent who moved away, or a new household starting out somewhere else.
You can change the title and subtitle, add a date such as a wedding or a move, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
