Golestān Map Poster & Print
Golestān is a town in Tehran province, on the wide, flat plain to the southwest of the capital. The terrain here offers few natural features, so the town's shape comes mainly from roads and planning. Seen from above, the streets form a fairly regular pattern of long, straight roads and rectangular blocks, with the main roads leading toward Tehran and nearby towns.
The town has grown quickly in recent decades, like many communities around the capital, and its layout reflects that growth. Newer residential areas extend outward in repeated rows, while open land, farm plots and industrial sites fill the space between Golestān and its neighbours. The contrast between dense housing and open ground is clear on the map.
For many residents, Golestān is a place close to Tehran but separate from it, with its own streets and daily routines. A Golestān map poster shows that local identity in a simple form: a grid of streets on the flat plain, main roads extending outward and the open land around the town.
