Gurbetē Map Poster & Print
Gurbetē lies in the Amhara Region of northwestern Ethiopia, on the high plateau country to the southwest of Lake Tana. The land here is broad and rolling rather than sharply mountainous, with farmland spread across gentle slopes and small streams cutting shallow valleys. On a map the town appears as a modest grid of streets gathered along its main road.
Outside the centre, the pattern loosens into scattered homesteads and field tracks that follow the lie of the land. Roads link Gurbetē to neighbouring towns on the plateau, part of a wider network of market centres serving the agricultural communities of this part of Amhara. The overall picture is spacious, with the built area a small, dense core in open country.
A Gurbetē map poster captures that sense of scale: a compact town and its road, set within a wide landscape of fields and paths. In black and white, the fine lines of rural tracks become a delicate texture around the centre. It is a quiet, honest portrait of a small highland town, meant for those who know it well.
