De kaart
Hafshejān Map Poster & Print
Hafshejān lies in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, in the central Zagros Mountains of western Iran, a short distance from the provincial capital Shahrekord. The region is one of the highest inhabited plateaus in the country, and the town sits on open ground surrounded by farmland and distant ridges.
From above the town has a compact, fairly regular layout. Main roads run through the centre, with residential blocks arranged around them and newer streets extending toward the fields. Beyond the edges, irrigated plots and field boundaries form a patchwork pattern that changes texture as the ground rises toward the hills.
A Hafshejān map poster emphasises the contrast between a settled, geometric centre and the wide landscape of the plateau. In monochrome, the streets appear as a concentrated cluster of lines, while the surrounding country fades into lighter detail, a composition well suited to the larger print sizes.

Compact town grid
Hafshejān's streets are laid out in a relatively regular pattern around its main roads, forming a clearly defined centre on the map.
Farmland patchwork
Irrigated fields around the town divide the land into small plots, which appear as a fine, varied pattern between town and hills.
