Huzhai Map Poster & Print
Huzhai lies in north-western Jiangsu, in the Xuzhou area, on the broad, level ground of the North China Plain. The land is almost entirely flat, and the map shows it. Roads run long and straight, field boundaries form a regular pattern, and the built-up area gathers around a few main streets rather than spreading over hills or along a coast.
Like many towns in this farming region, Huzhai has a compact centre of shops and housing, with villages set among cultivated fields around it. Canals and irrigation ditches cross the land in straight lines. A Huzhai map poster captures this ordered rural geometry: the town is a dense cluster within a wide, carefully divided plain.
In black and white, the flatness becomes a strength. The regular lines of fields and channels give the sheet a calm, even texture, while the denser town streets and the scattered villages give it points of focus. It is a quiet, understated composition that suits a minimal interior.

Field pattern
Cultivated land surrounds Huzhai in neatly divided plots. This fine, repeated pattern covers much of the sheet and gives it an even texture.
Village clusters
Small settlements sit among the fields around the town. Their compact knots of lanes stand out as denser patches in the lighter agricultural landscape.
