Jaguariaíva Map Poster & Print
Jaguariaíva lies in northeastern Paraná, in the Campos Gerais, a region of rolling natural grasslands broken by sandstone canyons and river valleys. The town sits beside the Jaguariaíva River, and on a map its streets form a compact grid that stops sharply where the ground falls toward the water. Railway tracks and highways cross the landscape around it.
The area is known for the canyon scenery along the river and for the Parque Estadual do Cerrado, which protects cerrado vegetation close to the southern limit of its range. Forestry and paper production play a large part in the local economy, and planted forests cover much of the surrounding land alongside open fields.
A Jaguariaíva map poster shows the tension between order and terrain: a regular town grid, a river that cuts through the landscape in tight bends, and roads that follow the easiest lines across the uplands. It is a map with more natural drama than the town's size would suggest.

Compact grid
The historic centre and newer districts follow a regular block pattern, neatly contained on higher ground above the river valley and easy to read at any print size.
Rail and roads
Railway lines and highways cross the surrounding uplands, adding long straight and gently curving lines that link the town to the rest of Paraná.

Waarom Jaguariaíva
Een kaart met betekenis
Jaguariaíva appeals to people who grew up in the Campos Gerais, to those who work in the region's forestry and paper industries and to hikers who have explored its canyons. A map of the town brings that upland landscape indoors.
