Jenjarum Map Poster & Print
Jenjarum is a small town in Selangor, in the flat coastal lowlands south of the Klang Valley. On a map, the town centre is a modest cluster of shophouse streets and housing estates. Around it, long straight roads cut through agricultural land, the typical pattern of the plantation landscape in this part of Malaysia.
The area around Jenjarum has long been shaped by oil palm and other estate crops. The plantation layout is clear from above, with regular access roads, drainage channels and blocks of land that create an almost ruled pattern. Newer residential areas add their own neat, repeating streets to the edges of the town.
A Jenjarum map poster shows how a small Malaysian town sits within a working agricultural landscape. The town grid is small and practical, and the surrounding lines are long and geometric. The result is a calm, orderly image with a surprising amount of structure for such a quiet place.
