Crossroads core
The densest part of the map gathers where the main roads meet, a small grid of blocks that reads clearly against the open land around it.

Jing'an Map Poster & Print
Jing'an lies in the far north of Jiangsu, in the Xuzhou region close to the Shandong border. The land here is almost perfectly flat. On a map this shows up as long, straight roads, a compact built-up core and a patchwork of rectangular fields around it, cut through by drainage channels that follow the gentle fall of the plain.
Because there are no hills to bend it, the town's shape is set almost entirely by its roads. The main routes cross near the centre, and newer blocks line up neatly along them. Farther out, the lines become thinner and more regular: field tracks, irrigation ditches and small village clusters spaced out across the countryside, each one a small knot of streets.
A Jing'an map poster shows that quiet order clearly. In black and white, the plain becomes a field of fine parallel lines around one denser cluster, which is how much of northern Jiangsu looks from above. It is a modest, well-proportioned piece for anyone who knows the town and the flat country around it.

Channels and ditches
Thin, straight water lines run through the surrounding fields, part of the drainage and irrigation that shapes farming on this low plain.
Field geometry
Beyond the town, rectangular plots and straight tracks form a regular pattern that gives the outer edges of the poster a calm, textile-like rhythm.
