Jose Rizal Map Poster & Print
Jose Rizal, better known locally as Rizal, is a municipality on the west coast of southern Palawan. On a map, it is mostly land and water rather than streets. There is a long shoreline facing the West Philippine Sea, and forested mountains rise steeply behind it. Settlements are strung along the coast and the main road that follows it.
The interior belongs to the mountain range of southern Palawan, including the area around Mount Mantalingajan, the island's highest peak. Rivers run down from the high ground to the sea and cross the coastal road along the way. Barangay centres appear as small clusters of streets rather than a single dense town.
This makes for an unusual and quiet poster. A Jose Rizal map poster is mainly about the relationship between the coastline, the rivers and the mountain interior, with human settlement drawn in fine detail along the edge. It is a map of a place still shaped more by terrain than by roads.

Mountain interior
The mountains of southern Palawan fill the inland part of the municipality. They show as large open areas with almost no roads, making the coastal settlements stand out.
Coastal road
The main road follows the shore, linking barangays and crossing rivers as they reach the sea. It is the thread that connects the settlements on the map.
