Kisarazu Map Poster & Print
Kisarazu lies on the western coast of the Bōsō Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture, facing Tokyo Bay. From above, the city is shaped by its waterfront. There are harbour basins and reclaimed land along the shore, tidal flats stretching out into the bay, and the older town centre around the station a little inland. Beyond it, low wooded hills rise toward the interior of the peninsula.
The city is where the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line reaches land. It is a road link that runs partly through a tunnel under the bay and partly on a long bridge, connecting Kisarazu directly with Kawasaki. The Banzu tidal flats nearby are among the largest remaining in the bay, and Nakanoshima Bridge, a tall pedestrian bridge in the harbour, is a well-known local landmark.
A Kisarazu map poster combines a working coastline with a quiet town. The straight edges of reclaimed land and port contrast with the soft outline of tidal flats, the Aqua-Line strikes out across the water, and streets and railways run inland. In monochrome, the bay becomes a wide expanse that gives the composition a sense of openness and scale.

Harbour and bridge
The port basins and reclaimed land have crisp, geometric edges. Nakanoshima Bridge crosses one of the harbour channels to a small island.
Banzu tidal flats
Wide, shallow tidal flats extend into the bay near the city. On the map their soft outline contrasts with the hard, engineered edges of the port.

Waarom Kisarazu
Een kaart met betekenis
Kisarazu is a city of commuters, fishermen and families who value space by the bay. A map of its coastline and harbour is a quiet reminder of the place where Tokyo Bay opens out.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to anything you like, such as a neighbourhood or a special date, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the bay feel deep and calm.
