Town centre
Kundgol's core is a tight grouping of irregular lanes, typical of older market towns in the region, forming the darkest area on the print.

Kundgol Map Poster & Print
Kundgol is a town in Dharwad district, south-east of Hubballi, set on the broad black-soil plains that characterise this part of northern Karnataka. From above, its streets form a close-knit centre with lanes that bend and meet in small junctions, while main roads run out across the countryside toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The town is closely associated with Hindustani classical music. It was the home of Sawai Gandharva, the vocalist whose disciples included Gangubai Hangal and Bhimsen Joshi, and music gatherings are held here in his memory. That heritage gives an otherwise quiet agricultural town a name recognised well beyond the region.
A Kundgol map poster shows the town as a dense cluster against open ground, the surrounding fields crossed by straight rural roads and field boundaries. It is a spare, graphic composition, well suited to minimalist styles, where the contrast between settlement and plain does most of the work and every line carries weight.

Radiating roads
Roads leave the centre in several directions, crossing the plain toward Hubballi and nearby villages, and give the composition a clear, star-like structure.
Open farmland
Fields surrounding the town appear as broad, lightly marked spaces, emphasising how the settlement stands on the flat, open ground typical of the northern Karnataka plateau.
