Forêt de Haye edge
The forest plateau covers the western part of the commune in one broad unbroken area, a quiet counterweight to the dense street network lower down the slope.

De kaart
Laxou Map Poster & Print
Laxou lies directly west of Nancy, and on a map the boundary between the two is hard to see. Streets from the city carry straight on into Laxou's residential blocks, and the density only begins to thin as the ground rises westward. Seen from above, it looks like the edge of a larger city pushing uphill rather than a separate town.
The western half of the commune is shaped by the Forêt de Haye, the large forest that covers the limestone plateau above Nancy. On a black-and-white print it becomes a wide, calm expanse set against the tight lines of the lower town. Between the two sit housing estates, winding hillside roads and the cut of the motorway that leads toward the plateau.
A Laxou map poster shows a place that is about two things at once: urban continuity with Nancy and the edge of the forest. The older village core, the later neighbourhoods and the green slopes all show up in the linework, so the print reads less like an isolated suburb and more like a cross-section of the Lorraine capital's western side.

Seamless border with Nancy
Streets run from Nancy into Laxou without any visible break, so the map shows one continuous urban fabric rather than two separate towns.
Slope toward the plateau
Roads bend and loop as the land climbs west, and the regular blocks near Nancy give way to curving hillside streets and estates.

Waarom Laxou
Een kaart met betekenis
Laxou tends to belong to people who know Nancy well: students who rented near the plateau, families who lived on the hillside, or anyone who walked into the Haye forest on weekends. The map shows the whole climb from city to trees in one frame.
Add a personal title, a date or the coordinates line, then pick one of the five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 HD files include six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
