Racecourse oval
The Hippodrome's large oval track sits among the residential streets. It is the most recognisable shape on the map and an open space in an otherwise dense grid.

Le Bouscat Map Poster & Print
Le Bouscat borders Bordeaux to the northwest, and on a map the line between the two is almost invisible. The streets carry on from the city in the same pattern: long straight avenues, narrow plots and dense rows of low houses. Many of these are échoppes, the single-storey stone houses typical of the Bordeaux area, with gardens tucked behind their street fronts.
The commune's most distinctive shape is its racecourse, the Hippodrome, whose large oval track stands out clearly among the residential blocks. Parks and tree-lined avenues add green space to a mostly residential town. The major routes into central Bordeaux run through Le Bouscat, which ties it closely to the city's everyday life.
A Le Bouscat map poster shows the fine grain of suburban Bordeaux. Hundreds of narrow parcels line straight streets, and the open oval of the racecourse breaks up the pattern. It suits anyone who knows the area's quiet avenues, or who wants a Bordeaux map with a more personal focus than the city centre.
