Leiyang Map Poster & Print
Leiyang is a county-level city in southern Hunan, administered from Hengyang and named after the Lei River, which curls through the urban area on its way north toward the Xiang. On the map the river is the main organising line: the older districts cluster close to its banks, while wider modern avenues and new residential blocks extend across the surrounding low ground.
The city is widely associated with Cai Lun, the Eastern Han court official traditionally credited with refining papermaking, who is recorded as a native of the area. Local memorials and parks honour him, and the connection gives Leiyang a place in the long history of writing and printing, a fitting link for a map printed on paper.
A Leiyang map poster renders the river's curves as a soft, flowing band through the city, with bridges stitching both banks together and the street network tightening around the old core. Beyond, the pattern thins into roads threading through hills and fields, giving the composition a clear centre and a quiet, open edge.

Bridges across the city
Several road bridges link the two banks, appearing as short crisp lines across the water that tie the older centre to newer development.
Surrounding hills
Outside the built-up area, roads bend around low hills and farmland, a looser pattern that frames the dense city at the heart of the map.
