Long Mỹ Map Poster & Print
Long Mỹ lies in the heart of the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam, today part of Can Tho City's wider administrative area. The land here is completely flat, and the map is organised by water. Canals run in long, straight lines across the landscape, and the town grew where several of them meet.
Streets follow the canal banks, so the built-up area stretches along the waterways and doesn't form a compact circle. Houses and shops line the banks, and beyond them the land opens into rice paddies divided into narrow, regular plots.
A Long Mỹ map poster captures that geometry: straight canals, ribbon-like settlement along their edges and a wide agricultural pattern around it all. In black and white, the lines of water and road create a composition that is both precise and quiet.

Waterside streets
Roads and houses run along the canal banks and give the town a linear, stretched outline instead of a round centre.
Rice paddies
Around the town, fields divided into narrow strips fill the frame with a fine, regular texture that surrounds the settlement.
