Regular blocks
Much of the town is laid out in a grid of straight streets. The recent growth gives it a tidy, geometric look from above.

Lqoliaa Map Poster & Print
Lqoliaa lies on the plain of the Souss valley in southern Morocco, a short distance inland from Agadir. From above it appears as a wide, low town. Streets form a fairly regular grid of blocks, extended by newer neighbourhoods at the edges, and cultivated land surrounds the built-up area on every side.
The Souss plain is one of Morocco's main agricultural regions, and the fields and greenhouses around the town reflect that. Lqoliaa has grown quickly as part of the wider Agadir urban area, which is why its plan is mostly made up of recent, orderly blocks rather than an old walled medina.
A Lqoliaa map poster records a town in the middle of change: new grid streets pushing out into the farmland, roads linking it to Agadir and neighbouring communities, and the open plain around it. In black and white the pattern is clean and geometric, a portrait of contemporary southern Morocco.
