Macia Map Poster & Print
Macia lies in the south of Gaza Province, on the EN1 highway that runs the length of Mozambique. From above, the town is organised around the road. A strip of shops and markets lines the highway, a compact grid of streets sits behind it, and the residential areas thin out into farmland and scattered homesteads on the surrounding sandy plain.
Macia is best known as the turn-off for Praia do Bilene, the lagoon beach resort to the southeast, and many travellers from Maputo pass through on their way to the coast. The lower Limpopo valley, one of the country's key farming areas, lies not far to the north and shapes the agricultural character of the district.
A Macia map poster shows a clear, practical layout: one dominant road, a simple street grid and a loose fringe of paths and fields. No dramatic landmarks compete for attention, so the composition is calm and easy to read, much like the town seen from a car window on the long drive north.

Bilene junction
The road to the Bilene lagoon branches off here. It draws a second line out across the plain toward the coast.
Town grid
Behind the highway, a simple grid of streets holds housing, schools, markets and small shops. It gives the centre a regular, orderly texture.
