Mococa Map Poster & Print
Mococa lies in the northeast of São Paulo state, close to the border with Minas Gerais, in a landscape of low rolling hills. The town follows the familiar pattern of the Brazilian interior: a central square and church, a regular grid of blocks around them, and newer neighbourhoods reaching out along the main roads, their streets bending wherever the slopes demand.
Farming defines the surroundings. The region has a long association with coffee and dairy production, and on a map the land beyond the town is divided into large rural properties, crossed by winding estate roads and small watercourses. The contrast between the dense urban blocks and these broad, lightly marked areas is strong and pleasing to the eye.
Many Brazilians know the name from the dairy brand that has its origins here. A Mococa map poster sets that familiar name against the town's actual shape: a hill town of tidy blocks, stream valleys and country roads, drawn with the same careful line and attention to detail as any capital city.

Stream valleys
Small watercourses wind through and around the town, bending nearby streets and leaving narrow green gaps in the otherwise regular pattern.
Rural road network
Estate roads curve over the hills between large farm properties, giving the outer part of the sheet a loose, almost hand-drawn quality.
