Moscow–Riga railway
The railway cuts straight across town. It is the strongest line in the composition and the reason Nelidovo grew here in the first place.

Nelidovo Map Poster & Print
Nelidovo lies in the south-west of Tver Oblast, in forested country on the upper reaches of the Mezha river. The town grew up around a station on the railway between Moscow and Riga. The tracks still run straight through it, dividing the map and setting the direction of many streets. Residential blocks and older wooden houses spread along both sides of the line.
In the twentieth century Nelidovo became a centre of lignite mining in the Moscow coal basin, and the industry shaped its growth and its neighbourhoods. The mines have since closed, but the layout still reflects that period. Planned districts sit next to older, more informal streets, and the river winds along one side.
A Nelidovo map poster shows a provincial Russian town defined by rail and river. The straight line of the railway contrasts with the curves of the Mezha, and forests and fields surround the built area on all sides. It is a direct, unadorned map that suits black and white, where every line of track and water stays easy to read.

Mezha river
The river curves past the town in loose bends, adding a natural line that softens the geometry of the rail and streets.
Mixed districts
Planned blocks from the mining era sit beside older lanes of low houses, giving the map a varied texture from one neighbourhood to the next.

Waarom Nelidovo
Een kaart met betekenis
For families whose parents or grandparents worked in the Nelidovo mines or on the railway, a map of the town is a way to hold onto that story. Personalise it with a title, a subtitle marking a year or name, and the coordinates line.
Noir gives the railway and river a strong graphic presence, while Paper and Sand feel softer; Classic black & white and Blueprint complete the five styles. HD files cost $9 for six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF, and a free 900 px watermarked preview is available first.
