Ofaqim Map Poster & Print
Ofaqim is a town in Israel's Southern District, on the western edge of the Negev, northwest of Be'er Sheva. It was founded in 1955 as a development town, and its map reflects deliberate planning, with residential neighbourhoods, public buildings and green strips arranged across the flat land.
The name Ofaqim means horizons, fitting for a town surrounded by open, sparsely built country. Agricultural land and dry terrain extend around it, and the town's edges meet the landscape abruptly rather than dissolving into suburbs.
A Ofaqim map poster shows a compact, planned town inside a wide setting. The clusters of streets, the parks and open spaces between them and the empty land around the edges create a composition with a clear boundary and a strong sense of place.

Green open spaces
Parks and strips of greenery separate the neighbourhoods, adding breathing room to the map and softening its geometry.
Negev surroundings
Beyond the town, fields and dry land stretch toward the horizon, giving the design a wide, quiet frame.
