Ponedera Map Poster & Print
Ponedera is a municipality in the Colombian department of Atlántico, south of Barranquilla, on the western side of the Magdalena River, the country's principal waterway. The river gives the map its dominant feature: a wide, slow band of water running along the eastern edge, with marshes, channels and seasonal lagoons spreading across the low ground nearby.
The town center is a compact grid of streets gathered around its main square, following the traditional plan found across the towns of Caribbean Colombia. From there, roads lead toward neighbouring municipalities in the south of the department and toward the route that follows the river corridor north to Barranquilla and the coast.
A Ponedera map poster balances the neat town blocks against the soft, irregular shapes of the river and wetlands. That contrast between human order and moving water is what makes towns along the lower Magdalena so striking from above, and it translates well into a clean black and white print.

Wetlands and lagoons
Marshy ground, channels and shallow water bodies spread across the lowlands near the river, adding irregular organic shapes around the town.
Plaza grid
The center follows a regular grid around the main plaza, a compact and legible pattern that stands out clearly against the open land.
