Sheltered bay
The shoreline to the west of the centre bends around a bay, giving the map a strong natural boundary and a large area of calm white or dark space.

Pulandian Map Poster & Print
Pulandian lies on the Liaodong Peninsula in Liaoning province, north of Dalian, which administers it as a county-level city. On the map the urban core forms a fairly regular grid, set a short distance from a bay that opens toward the Bohai Sea. Beyond the centre, streets quickly give way to the looser lines of rural roads and fields.
Its position between the coast and the interior of the peninsula has made it part of the wider Dalian region, linked by road and rail to the port city to the south. The contrast between the planned centre and the irregular coastline is the key visual feature, with water giving the composition a clear edge on one side.
A Pulandian map poster works well for anyone connected to this part of northeastern China. The grid is clean and legible, and the shoreline adds a natural curve that balances the straight streets. Printed in a minimal style, the map shows how a mid-sized city sits within the larger coastal and agricultural landscape of the peninsula.

Planned centre
Streets in the core follow a largely regular pattern of broad blocks, typical of Chinese cities that expanded rapidly in recent decades.
Link to Dalian
Roads and rail running south connect Pulandian to Dalian, and these long corridors lead out of the frame toward the tip of the peninsula.
