Rubio Map Poster & Print
Rubio is a town in Táchira state in western Venezuela, in the Andean highlands not far from the Colombian border. It lies in a valley surrounded by steep green slopes. On a map the built-up area follows the shape of the valley floor, with roads squeezed between hills.
The area around Rubio has long been connected with coffee. The cool mountain climate made it one of Táchira's coffee-growing areas, and the crop shaped the town's growth. Today it stays closely tied to nearby San Cristóbal and the border region.
A Rubio map poster shows a mountain town drawn by its terrain. The central blocks are fairly regular, but the edges stretch and bend as the land rises, and roads climb out of the valley toward other towns. It is a quiet, grounded image for anyone with roots in the Táchira Andes.
