It lies near Batangas City and the shores of Batangas Bay, in a landscape of low hills and farmland. From above, the map shows a modest town centre with main roads running out to the barangays and residential areas spreading along them.
The municipality is part of the wider Batangas Bay area, which has grown steadily with industry and port activity in the region.
