São João Map Poster & Print
São João is a municipality in the agreste of Pernambuco, the transitional region between the humid coast and the dry sertão of northeastern Brazil. From above, the town is compact, with a small grid of streets around its centre and a church square that anchors the layout, as is common in towns in the interior of the Northeast.
Beyond the urban area, the map spreads into a rural landscape of rolling hills, pastures and small farms. Unpaved roads run between the properties and the smaller settlements in the municipality, some following ridges, some following valleys. The land is used intensively, but the buildings are scattered, so the map feels open.
A São João map poster shows the urban grid set in its broad countryside, with dense blocks in the centre and fine rural roads reaching out in all directions. It is an appealing reminder of home for people from the town and for the many northeasterners who have moved to larger cities.

Central square
A main square at the heart of the grid provides a natural focal point, the kind of civic space around which many northeastern towns are organised.
Rural roads
Unpaved roads wind outward through hills and farmland, linking small farms and settlements in a loose, branching pattern across the poster.
