Shinagawa Map Poster & Print
This page covers Shinagawa as listed in the Ehime region of Japan, on the island of Shikoku. Ehime lies along the Seto Inland Sea, with a heavily indented coast and mountains inland, and Japanese settlements there tend to follow valleys, rivers and the narrow flat land between the slopes.
From above, towns in this kind of landscape usually show a dense core of small blocks, roads and railways following the easiest routes through the terrain, and farmland or forest beginning soon after the last houses. The exact pattern depends on the ground, and the map renders it exactly as it is.
A Shinagawa map poster is best seen as a personal piece. Instead of well-known landmarks, it shows the particular shape of the place, the way streets meet, where the water runs and where the built-up area stops, drawn in the clean, minimal style of the collection.

Water and terrain
Rivers, coastlines and open ground are shown as clear shapes. In Ehime these features often set the direction the streets follow.

Waarom Shinagawa
Een kaart met betekenis
A map of a smaller place is usually bought for one reason: someone lived there, came from there or wants to remember it. This poster keeps that connection in a simple, lasting form.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a date, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Check the free preview first to see the exact framing.
