Main road spine
The principal road runs through the centre and anchors the whole map. Most of the town's activity and building density is concentrated along its length.

Shinshicho Map Poster & Print
Shinshicho is a town in the highlands of southern Ethiopia, in the Kembata area of what is now the Central Ethiopia Regional State. The land around it is green and hilly, farmed in small plots and dotted with homesteads. The town forms a compact centre where roads meet, and its denser streets quickly give way to lanes and footpaths leading out to the fields.
Like many towns in the Ethiopian highlands, Shinshicho grew as a place of trade and services for the surrounding countryside. Its layout reflects that role. A main road carries traffic through town, shops and markets cluster close to it, and residential streets branch outward in irregular shapes that follow the land rather than a planned grid.
On a Shinshicho map poster that structure becomes clear and quiet. The road network reads as a spine with branches, the built-up area as a small, dense heart, and the farmed hills as open space around it. It is a simple, truthful drawing of a working town, and for people connected to the area it carries a strong sense of place.

Branching lanes
Smaller streets and paths leave the main road at varied angles, forming an organic, tree-like pattern that reflects gradual growth rather than a planned layout.
Farmed highlands
Around the town, small fields and scattered homesteads keep the frame light and open, which gives the compact centre room to stand out in any of the five styles.
