Shoham Map Poster & Print
Shoham is a young town in central Israel, founded in the 1990s on low hills at the edge of the coastal plain, a few kilometres east of Ben Gurion Airport. Because it was planned as a whole, its map looks unlike older towns: streets curve with the terrain in long arcs and loops, and neighbourhoods are separated by strips of parks and open space.
Shoham takes its name from a Hebrew word for a precious stone, often translated as onyx, one of the stones of the biblical High Priest's breastplate. The town is mostly residential, with schools, commercial centres and sports grounds set within the neighbourhoods, and the wooded slopes of Ben Shemen Forest lie close by, adding a large open mass to the edges of the map.
A Shoham map poster shows a modern plan at its most legible, with rings of streets, cul-de-sacs and public spaces arranged across gentle hills. It suits families who chose the town for its space and quiet, children who grew up in its parks, and anyone who likes the calm order of a designed place.

Green corridors
Parks and open strips run between the neighbourhoods, leaving pale bands across the poster that give the dense residential areas room to breathe.
Ben Shemen Forest
The planted forest nearby covers the surrounding hills with trails and woodland, framing the town with a broad area of open, lightly drawn ground.

Waarom Shoham
Een kaart met betekenis
Shoham is a town people choose deliberately, and a map of it makes a thoughtful gift for a new home or a milestone. Add your family name or street to the title, a move-in date to the subtitle, and your coordinates below.
The clean curves read well in Classic black & white or Blueprint, and feel softer in Paper or Sand; Noir adds contrast. Download the $9 HD files in six sizes with no watermark, or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
