Archipelago coast
The southern shore is broken into bays, peninsulas and many islands. It is the most detailed and graphic part of the map, especially in the Blueprint style.

De kaart
Sibbo Map Poster & Print
Sibbo, Sipoo in Finnish, lies just east of Helsinki on the Gulf of Finland. It is a bilingual municipality with a strong Swedish-speaking tradition. Its map does not look like a single town. It is a wide landscape of forest and fields, with a few village centres, the largest being Nikkilä and Söderkulla, joined by winding roads.
To the south, the mainland breaks up into a complex coastline of bays, inlets and a scattering of islands in the archipelago. In the west, towards Helsinki, lies Sipoonkorpi National Park, a large block of forest very close to the capital. River valleys and farmland run north to south between the woods.
A Sibbo map poster is as much a landscape portrait as a street plan. The coastline, scattered villages and roads crossing the countryside make a composition with lots of breathing space. In black and white, the islands and bays along the south edge become a fine, lace-like border.

Village centres
Nikkilä and Söderkulla are the main built-up areas. They appear as small, compact street networks separated by fields and forest.
Sipoonkorpi forest
A large protected forest, now a national park, covers the western part of the municipality. On the map it is a broad, quiet expanse right next to the capital region.

Waarom Sibbo
Een kaart met betekenis
Sibbo is a place of summer cottages, family farms and quiet villages close to the city. A map of it holds all of that at once, which makes it a natural gift for someone with a place by the sea here or a family home in one of the villages.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of a summer place or a family date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It is available as HD digital files for $9 or as a printed matte poster with an optional wooden frame.
